Hello, running Sonar 6 here-
I think I've figured out how to set up routing for sd2, now how do I program my own beats? Is this done in the piano roll view? Can someone please explain or point me towards a tutorial? Thanks.
 
Just do it like you would for any drums. You can do it in the piano roll view but I prefer to do it in the staff view. When you set the clef to "percussion" making your own beats is really fast. Then you can groove clip and loop them.
 
Thanks punkin! Very helpful link; now I don't have to go to the drummer and say "It goes da-da-da-da-dum!" :D
