¡Buenos dias!
Ive got a Sennheiser MD 422 U, no not a 421, and was wondering if anyone else might have experience with one. I got it used at a great price and it looks just like a 421. I sent an e-mail to Sennheiser a while back to ask how it differs from a 421 and they told me that while the 421 is a great perc/tom and all around mic the 422 was designed specifically for guitar. I assume they meant acoustic guitar. I have used it on a nylon string guitar and was pleased and have also tried it on bass drum, tuba, voice and I especially liked it on my floor tom. If anyone knows anything about this mic I would greatly appreciate your opinions, comments etc.
