Sennheiser 609 Vs e609

I've noticed that musicians' friend has the e609 for 99 bucks I tought senn was moving this mic to their evolution line, then I notice they also have the sennheiser 609 for 229 and the "e" on theother one is for "emotion"....aka cheap maybe?
What are the differences between both...has anybody tried the e609?
 
we had a long thread about this, see if you can find it. the conclusion is that they are different. and sound different.
