secrets of the pop song.. on the BBC!!!!

i have no idea if this has been mentioned on the site elsewhere but everyone in this section owes it to themselves to beg borrow or steal a download of this series which is currently being aired....

its a masterclass in the process of writing..brainstorming and aranging songs on a deadline.. any song .. not just pop ...but in some ways pop is the hardest because its has to work for everyone.

guy chambers is the link between each documentary ..and the results are fairly impressive!!!

the bbc are airing it at the moment

type into google: BBC IPlayer, then type in to the search menu: 'Secrets of the Pop Song' you should be able to locate it from there.

Having never seen the series, I'm intrigued: what "secrets" could they possibly have? Wouldn't careful analysis of popular songs end up giving away said secrets?
