Seagull guitars

I just picked up a Seagull S6, spruce top and I'm impressed. Nice sound, action and intonation for $400, with hardshell and they are made in Canada. I had never heard of the company before, but this thing really rocks. Can't wait to see how it records, it has a full sound, without being boomy, so I think it's going to record well. Anyway, I just wanted to give Seagull a big thumbs up.

I'll second the Seagull recomendation! I've had mine for about 4 or 5 years and have been extremely happy with it. Even compared to the Martins and Taylors the guys at church play...

The ONLY downside to the Seagull is that they are not as pretty as the high dollar guitars. But they spend their manufacturing dollars on build/wood quality. So you don't get the ultra-fine finishes, pricy bindings, etc.

But for the money, the Seagull is my choice hands down!
