Samplitude 6.0 master

I bought Samplitude 6 master so I could compile songs and burn a master cd. I was under the impression that I could bring in 24 bit stereo mixes, do final tweaking, dither, and then burn. Am I missing something here? The program only allows me to bring in 16 bit files.
Help.

The VIP has to be created as a 24 bit VIP.

Thanks, yes, it's a delta 1010.

So how do you create the VIP as 24bit? My new VIP screen has options for various sample rates but not bit depth.

Very frustraiting so far...

I can't remember off hand but I think its under a menu for setting up your preferences. I don't have it right in front of me at the moment so I can't do a walkthru. If your still having problems send me a reminder.

i have RedRoaster which is Samplitude Master 4.x.

in order to bring in 24bit you have to use file --> import rather just doing file --> open.
