sampling from CDs

hi,

what is the best to way to sample stuff off of cds. I mean real commercial audio cds not premade sample cds. Ive used this thing called audio extractor, which comes with Toast, and then edited the thing in cubase. The cubase 5.1 wave editing thing i find really frustrating and non user friendly to work with...

any advice?

I would suggest an audio editor, such as.....

Sound Forge

oR

Wave Lab

But....... I think you are using a MAC (these program suggestion are for PC based setups).
