running multiple m-boxs

Through my school I have access to a bunch of m-boxs. I was wondering if there is a way to hook multiple m-boxs to one computer (to get more inputs) through some type of daisychain or something. My computer (mac book pro) only has one firewire input, but I might be able to get a hub. Thanks a lot.

So my only option would be to record on multiple m boxs on multiple computers and then bounce the tracks over to one computer and line them up?

Lesson #1: Always buy more i/o than you THINK you'll ever need.

Lesson #2: Buying cheap isn't cheap when you don't follow Lesson #1....

(I realize you're trying to use school equipment, but this is a common thread from people who insist that they'll buy a 2-channel box because its all they'll EVER need!)

if you have an mbox 2, you actually have 4 inputs at your disposal. the spdif inputs add two more inputs. you can get a stereo preamp with spdif outputs, or, like i did once, use a fx processor with spdif output as a makeshift AD converter.
