Hello Everyone. I own a Roland VS-880 and I was wondering if there was a program that will actually work with my VS. Like a controller or something. Help me out thanks

You mean like a BRC for ADATs?

You can get a footswitch to punch in and out I think. I have a 1680 though...

or do you mean like a computer program to link up with?

If so, thats another story that you wont be happy with.

Okay, so you’ve got a VS880, which has a controller surface, but you want to hook it to another controller surface so that you can bypass the original controller surface and control it with the new add on controller surface…you’re a musician, aren’t you? :p

I bought a program called VS-Pro, by Datasonics. It was $150 at the time, several years ago. Never used it much. There's another program that came with some of the Roland units, but I don't recall the name at this time. A search will surely pull something up. Then Cakewalk has a control surface built into the program. It looks like the front of the VS unit, on the computer screen, and it's hooked up through the midi ports. You may find more info at VSPlanet.
