There's a limit of ~2Gb/partition on the 1680 - it's to do with the maximum space which the file-system can address. Look on the VS planet web-site - there are instructions on how to up-grade the 1680 to a larger disk (~20Gb) - you will still be limited to 2Gb partitions, but you can have a maximum of 8 of them - (again the limit of 8 is to do with the maximum number of devices that the controller can handle, so you're using 16Gb, and wasting the remaining 4Gb).
