Roland Synths: Is the GR33 worth the upgrade money from a GR30?

I keep reading the older models track about as fast. After having been burned by Roland on an S88 keyboard I can't help but wonder if a new GR isn't right around the corner anyway.

I'm still using a GR-50 form 1991 or thereabouts, and I see no need to upgrade. I don't think there's going to be an appreciable difference between the 30 and 33.
What are you using - a GK-2A ? There are differences in input devices. My Godin is waaaay better than the GK-2A ever was.

But I'd love to buy a VGA-7 - now THAT would compliment the synth !

I'd still like to see Roland come out with something new, though.

I'm using a Godin. And I think you're right about upgrading.
Speaking of Godin, why are they so hard to come by outside of Canada?
It's a great guitar and they have a good line to chose from.
