Roland micro cube

I stopped by the local GC the other day I wanted an extremely
portable amp to take out on the deck when I have a non acoustic urge.
I was planning on picking up a little Vox 15R, of course GC never has
what you want when you want it. The GC sales guy tryed to fix me up
with something different of course he hooked up this little toy looking
cube and a epi guitar and asked me to try it.
I figured I'd already wasted my time and gas so I gave it a try. About
5 minutes later I was heading for the door with this little beast under
my arm.

I'm just wondering if any of you have recorded with one of these?
I'm thinking it might sound awesome in a iso box. I'm more than pleased
with the way it sounds as is. It has been working great as a practice
amp there is more than enough volume and a couple of the amp model
are really loud considering it is a 2W amp.

I've never recorded mine, but I would start by going direct. I doubt the power section and speaker are doing much tone shaping.

Edit: Come to think of it, I did use it at a practice/informal jam, I went straight to the PA with it, sounded fine.
