Just purchased them last week....turned them on today and the Right monitor started smoking!
Smoke started coming out of the holes. Smelled like burnt plastic.
Well, I called Roland and said that they haven't heard of this problem yet and it's very abnormal.
Odd thing, the speaker still works. But we won't risk it. Gonna return them to 8thstreet music.
