Haven't seen it, but I think he uses the Samson C01U plugged into a laptop for recording on the road and there are samples on his website.

Dude, you should totally design your own USB powered mic! It would look similar to the others, but instead of the XLR, would plug right into the USB (without a cable).

Last time I talked to Roger, he was using Voyetra's Digital Orchestrator Pro, but I think he's switched to CoolEdit/Audition.

Yeah, it was Cool Edit Pro that was mentioned in the TapeOp article.
