Rode NTV Tube and SHure SM57

Oh....My...God!
If you can get an NTV for $400 in perfect working order then who cares about the price of the SM57? :D
(Actually, $70 for the SM57 is a good price too - I'm assuming $US here)

I have an NTV purchased new when they first came out (cost me close to Aus$2000) and its my favourite mic - as a result it only gets used very rarely LOL!

Go for it!

Well the guy who was selling the Rode already has someone on their way to pick it up tonight, It even had a shock mount, case, power supply, and cable too. =(

Major bummer, D.L. :(

Sounds like the whole original package for one fifth of the original price!
Wonder why the seller was getting rid of it.

He acquired the studio of someone who passed away and the mic had been stored in a case in an air dried cupboard and never used. He said he sold the house and studio already just needs to get the equipment out.

I think I'm gonna cry
Not from the dude dying, tragic though it may be, but from all the gear that's going cheaply and I'm nowhere nearby to snap it up :( ;)
