Rode NT2 Question

Can anyone explain the 3 position slider (switch) on the back of the Rode NT2? I know the far right position is a
-10db pad. The one to the far left has a right angle symbol and the middle position has a straight line __. I have the manual but it doesn't explain this. It also states that the NT2 has a high pass filter, but doesn't explain how it's activated. I've gottten several opinions on this and was wondering if anyone knows for sure. Thanks.

I've never seen a Rode NT2, but my guess is that the "right angle" symbol is your hi-pass filter, and the straight line is your phase (polarity....whatever).

3-position switch allows you to select a 10dB pad, an LF roll-off filter, or to bypass both these functions(center).
