I've used a lot of Rode mics... but the Rode K2 is not one of them... sorry. If you get one, after you've had time to run it through the ropes... please post your opinion. Thanks
I played with one last week alongside brothers 4050, BabyBottle , Dragonfly, 414, and SM7 (and a small Gefell mic). First, normal price on them is $700 i think. I just did my vocals and acoustic guitars. It sounds pretty good on both to me, and it has that sparkle to it that I am lacking im my vocal-type mics. Although I liked the dragonfly better, it is still a good mic, with the variable polar patterns and the mellower mid and lows. I'm still holding out, however, to get my hands on a U195 to try out.
