RNC settings and opinions...

I have been reading up on compression, recently purchased a RNC, and wonder what settings you guys are using on vocals, acoustic and bass guitars. My previous pre had pre determined settings for every instrument and vocal type as a quick guide, so I did not learn about compression, just monkey see monkey do. I have been playing with this thing, but always looking for something extra, so any tricks you pro's have that made your instrument / vocal shine will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Go to their website, they have some suggestions there. I've always had a tough time using the "supernice" mode. The release seems to be trippled. Hard to tweek.

If you do a search here you will find a lot of information about compression. You will also learn that there is NO one setting for anything!

That is probably why you have not gotten much reply back. this question is like beating a dead horse.

My advice is to read, experiment and learn.
