I have been researching on the right audio interface for the past 2 months now for upgradation of my home studio and finally have shortlisted these two options.
a). RME MULTIFACE + PCI CARD $ 900
and Focusrite Voice Master / Twin Track as a preamp $ 600
TOTAL US $ 1500
b). RME FIREFACE $ 1500
TOTAL US $ 1500
Now, plz guide me on which option would be the better, as fireface definatly has better converter quality than multiface as far as i know, but what about the preamp section ???
- Should using the focusrite Voice Master / Twin Track or even Track Master typ preamp give me better output and quality while using it with multiface than employing the preamps of FIREFACE only that RME claims to be very good !
So what should be the choice guys
