Rhyming lyrics

about 99% of all songs have rhyming lyrics.
I have always been a fan of Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction, Porno For Pyros, Solo) and he has this strange ability to make lyrics work in a song when nothing rhymes.

He is a master at melody. You would do yourself a favor as a writer to at least check out some of the stuff he does.

Jane's is heavy
PFP is quirky
The solo stuff is disco-ish

Where there are actually words.

Over the last 50 years, since the advent of rock'n'roll.

Interestingly, so many great hooky catchy choruses over that period have not a rhyme in sight.

I like it when the music rhymes ! That's not easy.
