Rewire?

Since my AA1.5 dosen't support VSTi and I got some new VSTi synth for
x-mas from my daughter which didn't know they were VSTi.
I was planning on using Reaper in AA's Rewire, but the manual doesn't make any sense to me, and I got Reaper on a track but the record button won't activate.
So how do I get AA's rewire option to work and record Reaper's Vsti track?

I think you have to re assign your inputs...

Its a while since I've done this but from memory it something like this

Start Reaper
Start Audition
In AA's multitrack view select Edit->ReWire Setup from the main menu.
Then select 'Enable'
Tick the 'Reaper' checkbox
Select the summing or individual tracks option on the right
Select OK
Select a track (or tracks) and select the input for that track - Choose Rewire->Reaper

I suspect that you will need to arm a track but that should get you most of the way.
