Restoring data onto 2488 from backed-up 788 discs

The 2488 won't take my (MANY) backed-up discs from my 788... I get an (invalid C D please check this media) message What is the answer, guys ?????? HELP !!! I've got a million songs that I CAN'T loose !!!!!!
 
The 2488 backup format is not compatible with the 788. If you still have your 788 around, and are running v2.02 firmware, you can save your individual tracks in a song as WAV files and import them on the 2488. You lose saved mixer/effect settings, but the audio goes across just fine.
