will too much voltage hurt preamp or mic?......ex.my mxl 67 running thru a TC ditto mic looper......my preamps provide 48v and If'in I read correctly the ditto is 24v on all the time.
From my quick read through, I'm guessing you don't use phantom power on your preamp. The TC always has phantom power on. 24vdc is good for most every condenser mic out there.
