Replacing counter belt on Teac 80-8

The counter belt on my Teac 80-8 has slipped off. I have no idea where to reattach it, other than the wheel directly behind the counter. Where does it go after that?
 
on some of the teac tascam counters they slip over a pulley behind one of the reel tables. Which means you may have to remove one of the reel tables.

Makes sense. If I take the table off, will it be hard to get it back on correctly? I don't want to take it off and then not be able to reassemble it. I don't have the service manual, either, so no exploded view for me:(
