Im using Reaper 4.53. i know theres a way to reverse the track and remove the vocals i just cant seem to figure it out. Does anyone know how to do this? If so id appreciate some help.

Easy enough to try, but people are right - results are pretty hit and miss.

Make a copy of the audio track and invert the polarity (phase reverse). Pan both central and then bring up both faders.

If the voice is bang centre, then it's level will drop. However, it's nearly universal nowadays to put reverb and effects on vocals, and these will normally be stereo - so you drop the main voice, BUT the reverb stays at the old level, creating a kind of ghost voice. You can try selective eq to try and filter a bit of this out, but other instruments may vanish too - bass guitar is often central in mixes, and this will vanish too.

It's rare it works well enough to be used, I'm afraid.
