is it possible to register online i'm trying to but i can't find a link on http://www.steinberg.net/24_1.html. i hope they don't need me to send the cards cuz i haven't seen them in years. i kept the boxes with the s/n just for installation purposes and also i didn't want to write them somewhere and lose it

Steinberg apparently does not believe in online registration. I just bought Cubase SE and will have to mail in the card.

That will really suck if there is no way around it , as i'm positively sure not to have these cards in my possession

My recommendation is to keep those damn cards... I had an issue with them when upgrading a few years back - they wouldn't release the shipment without my registration. Fortunately I found the card in my files and faxed it to them. Back then they basically told me that if I don't have the card sent in there will be no upgrade - go buy the latest version.

Ironically, whenever I turn on my copy of Cubase SE, I'm asked if I want to register electronically. I thought I was missing something.

I just gotta find someone with a blank card and have it fax it to me.
