Regions Missing after getting session of external HD

I backup all of my PT sessions, I was bringing up an older session from last year so I dragged the entire session to my desktop from my External (Audio files, session backups ect..) everything is there except nothing shows up in the regions. and I keep getting errors about running audio through usb. I already unplugged my external and re-loaded the session from the desktop but the same thing happens! Where are the regions??
even if i record new vocals ect. they don't show up either.


I am running an Intel Imac with leapord, 1 gig of ram

You've got to be more descriptive than this. I've never heard of a Pro Tools error code that even remotely resembles the phrase "errors about running audio through usb."

I'm also confused about the phrase "Nothing shows up in the regions". I'm guessing you mean the meta data (the audio files tunnels are there but the data (audio files) are missing??

Glad to help but not enough accurate info to hazard even a wild guess.
