reflective wall

Ok I will start my studio construction thread in a month, i have my basement framed up for the most part, but waiting on tax returns to really get rolling with drywall so i've taken a few pics along the way and figured once i get some cash i'll start posting frequently, but anyway my question is in my live/drum room would having a reflective wood wall ( 3/4" hard wood flooring) add any thing positive to the room. dims are 8.5' x 12.5' x 7.5'H ? i have some 3/4 brazillian Koa i used in my house left over , unfortunealty i can't use it on my basement floor, so thought about using it on a wall. with no absorption panels on that particular wall. while other three walls would have panels. leaning to staining concrete floor over laminate. plan on using clouds over drums.

also if i do wood wall would i layer stud>osb>drywall>Flooring?

there has to be osb because some flooring pieces do not span the stud width( cant nail them) sp double drywall under flooring wouldn't work.

i think it would look cool, but not cool enough to sacrifice sound!

Wood looks great, but I can't imagine it will sound much different than sheet rock. At least not enough difference to justify the cost. A room that small needs a ton of bass traps and other acoustic treatment much more than it needs wood.

the wood is essentially free left over from building my house. I plan on using absorption, bass traps everywhere else , but no broadband on that wall... so it won't really make a detrimental difference?
