I have done so much reading, reading etc and have taken in that much info now that I am a little unsure of how to approach the treatment of my reflection zones.
What I have as resources to make my panels is Auralex 2"(I know, I know!.. I have this to enhance visually the traps I make out of my fibreglass.. ), rigid fibreglass 2", and rigid fibreglass 1" with foil and paper on one side.
I don't want to kill all the mids-highs in my room without addressing the bass.
I know the first reflection zones generally can be treated with mid/high absorption.(Correct?? )
Question: If I use my Auralex on top of the 1" fibreglass with the foil/paper facing into the room will this be suitable in helping tame the reflections without killing too much of the highs?....This is for my side panels!
On my back wall I am thinking of having 2" Auralex then 1" OC703 with the foil/paper facing into the room and then 2" OC703.
I am adding bass trapping also so my main questions relate to my side panels (first reflections) and the back wall.
Any thoughts on my plans/questions???
Sorry for the rambling! I have so much going on in my head!
