Ive got two reel to reels an 8 track fostex and a 4 track teac which both still run fine and love the sound but Im finding digital is much more convenient but wont part with the two at this point .
 
Nice....well don't ever "part" from them then :D Brand new tape is being manufactured again by 2 major companies at decent prices which is good to know that analog never died no matter what people say. If you like the way it sounds and like to use these wonderful made machines that is your (and mine) choice....I love all my reel to reel broken are not and actually its so rewarding when getting them "tweeked" and up to optimum performance :D
