I planned on putting my analog reel to reel in between my monitors which are place about 4.5 feet apart. Now I am a little worried about the static magnetic field of the monitors too close to the reel to reel. I moved my computer monitor very close to the speakers and did not get any visual distortion. Most likely the recording level of around 250nW/m would probably be much higher than the fields generated by the woofer magnet.
I know it would be best to have them seperated more, but I just don't have the space. Anyone know of any guidance or experiences with this ? Thanks.
