I recently bought and have started using the Akai dps 12. Anybody have one with tips they'd like to share? My first mistake was to record 7 songs without renaming each song project. So I filled the jazz disk as one project. I received the unit as a 1.0 version. So I just updated it to the 2.11 version. I backed up the data on a dat (before the update). Now I need to reload onto a new disk and attempt to erase everything but the song I want to work on. I plan to do this 7 times until each song is backed up as a seperate project. Anybody have any ideas?
