I just purchased a Tascam 1641 interface to record on my PC(custom for DAW). I have the Roland TD-12. The Tascam has 8 input channels w/preamp and 6 that dont. Do I need a preamp to record the TD-12 from the Direct outs? Also, I have EZ-Drummer and plan to use the midi capability. When I use my software (Reaper) will it recognize both the Tascam and the Midi? I have a midi to USB cable but I also ordered a M-audio Delta1010 card (I think it might be overkill) that has midi in. Will a program recognize two audio interfaces?
