What is the best recording technique for software?
Should I record in cubase or record in an external program (cool edit, sound forge) and then import them into cubase..is that even possible?! Please help..

Cubase is fine to record into. Try to record with the highest possible sample and bit rate. This will be determined by the ability of your hardware.

What are you planning on recording? Cubase is good for audio, but if you are looking do work with loops or sequencing, it may be better for you to work in another program like Sound Forge, etc.

any know software will do just fine....it's better to experience yourself.....just go with your guts...it might be a bad choice but if it's got the feeling?

One trick....listen and judge yourself
