Recording Software

Hey, my soundcard has an assignable 1/4" plug, that I can assign as a second line input. Is there any software that I can use to record to two seperate tracks, one that would be recording the sound from line level one and the other recording line level two? They would have to be to two seperate tracks so they can be edited and later mixed.

I downloaded a demo of N-track. I can set two different tracks up, but how would I make it record from two different line inputs on two different tracks. You can set the two to record from different soundcards but I can't set one to record from line1 and the other line2

From where do you select this was basically what I was asking.

go into File/Preferences/WaveDevices and highlight under wave input devices the 2 inputs you want to record from....you should get 2 separate input VU meters now for the 2 different channels.....
