Recording in an "L" shaped room.

So I'm about to record my band in our practice space. The thing is is that it's L shaped. I'm wondering where the best position will be to record things.

Here's an example of how the drums are set up now:

(yellow lines are doors, blue area is the drum set space, black lines are stairs)

I'm wondering if this will cause problems since one half of the drum set points to the larger opening and the other will be reflecting off the closer wall first?

How would you position the drums, as well as guitar amps for recording in a place like this? Opinions?

It's probably not a huge issue. You might notice the mics in the smaller part of the room getting a hotter signal (or frequency dropouts from phase cancellation) then the mics on the big side because of the increased reflections.
