Recording Digital, transferring to tape

Useless Thoughts
Hoping this is the right spot to post this.

I am recording via digital meand, mixing via software then wanting to route back to my cassette deck for recording.

What is the best way to do this. My Cassette deck has rca ins, as well as left and right 1/4" (they call it mic) ins.

Thanks

If you are using an interface, then you should have some output jacks that you can route your mixes from to your cassette rig, which should have the capability to input a line-level signal.

What are you using for a digital interface?

Avoid the 1/4" mic jacs on the tape deck, those will not properly accept the line level signal you're feeding it.

Its a presonus firepod. managed to get a real good sound routing out of the headphone jack in the presonus via rca to to the rca ins in the tape deck.
