Recording a battery of percussions in one room

Hi,
I play in a latin-jazz band in India (Don't look so puzzled please !) We're going in for a recording but we only have sm 57s and 58s and a couple of condensers (Which we need for the accordion, clarinet and flute) Our band's sound is kinda like Cuba LA and if you haven't heard them, it's like a no holds barred percussion festival ! We intend to record Congas, bongos, timbales, guiro, and clave in one room. How do we minimize leakage ? We want an old kinda sound. Will gates help ? Can anyone help with suggestions please ?
 
I f you all are tracking in the same room you can make gobos (dividers)out of heavy blankets. Just hang them up to isolate areas.
