Reason problems

Okay, I did a post about this before, but the problem still persists. I can't get reason to recognize my keyboard.

I connect my keyboard to my firebox's midi in. In reason, i go to perferences and set up my keyboard as the master keyboard, then I go to advanced midi and set up "Bus A". Then I turn on Bus A. I click the button on my keyboard for Midi.I create a subtractor synth and choose a patch.I arm the track for recording. I press record. I play something on the keyboard. I get nothing. What the hell?
 
When you set up your keyboard as the master do you also check in 'Audio' that the 'Audio Card Driver' is assigned as your firebox (presuming firebox has a driver)...
 
I know sounds a bit simple, but is everything plugged in correct with cables that you can verify are functional?
