reason 2.5 with korg microkontrol

i jus got a korg microkontrol and im tryin to use it wit reason 2.5. the korg only came wit a USB cable and power adapter. do i need to buy midi cables in order to use this with reason?

Nope.

Just plug it in and go.

Even though Windows XP is supposed to be a plug-n-play ready OS you may need to load the driver CD that came with the Korg to take full advantage of all the stuff it can do...

got it working

but, would getting midi cables and plugging my korg into my emu1212m have any advantages over just using the usb?
