reaper help

Hi everyone, I keep getting a pop/clicking sound when ever I send a signal into reaper, it dont happen with pro tools...any idea!!

Clicking and popping usually suggest that the ASIO buffers are set TOO LOW.
Go in the preferences and raise them.

Well that sucks cuz if I raise the buffer I get to much latency

Not much help here but only insight...

Unfortunately latency is caused by a big buffer where the CPU only gets a little data at a time to process if there are other things going on in the system concurrently. In the other hand if not enough buffer is set, then you get pops and crackles. This happens no mater which DAW you use. Most importantly to consider is how many plugins are being used as well to process sound data. So a balance is key, however to achieve that balance is a mater of system setup.

I know this is old.. But YES..I was using a digi interface!!
No longer, but good call...why is there a problem with digi and reaper?
