OK. Here's the deal...
I've just got me a Mac Quadra 840 AV with 2 x 500mb hard drives, 120mb of ram & running at a blistering 40mHz!!!
DON'T LAUGH; I got it for nothing.
I do all my recording on my Korg D8.
NOW, what I want to know, is there some basic software still around that will 1: run on my computer. 2: allow me to record in from my D8 digitally (mixdown) & 3: assemble the tracks & do basic "mastering" (I know, I know!) so I can burn to CD???
I realize I will need a soundcard with digital inputs (the D8 has optical & analogue outs). (Any suggestions?)
Is this worth my while or am I wasting my time.
I don't really have any $$$ to spend!
