i got a new computer but still use the same program (fl studio) and soundcard (mobilepre), and whenever i play back a midi track or use a instrument in fl studio i'll get a HISSS noise . it's not constant, just after every time i use an instrument or play it back. any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you isolated the source of the HISSSS?
Is it coming from the software or the computer itself?
Or the mobilpre?
If you've got another application similar to FL try it and see if you still get HISSS.
If you don't have another one, download something free like Audacity --- LINK --- and see what the results are with that.
If that doesn't eliminate the hiss, it means it's somewhere in your hardware. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your mobilpre. But before you do, go to the manufacturer's web site and make sure you have the latest drivers.
