I have a question, my friend told me that they have a software clall digital transformer that will change the language of a file to whatevr file you need. For examle if you use cubase and saved a song in cubase and someone need it in protools it will change the file so it can be loaded it in protools is this true?

I know of a few programs that will change PCM data to MP3 and back, RM, WMA, etc.
I don't know of any programs in particular that will change proprietary project files into other types though...
