I'm using cooledit pro and am having a problem with volume after I do my mixdown. In multitrack playback, when I 'think' I have it all mixed down properly and the playback indicators show no clipping (yet are way up there) the overall volume is still low and I can't seem to get it any louder without the indicators clipping. What am I doing wrong? Apart from panning and volume levels I haven't really touched the tracks.
