Question for M-audio Delta 66 users

When I am recording mono audio(synth or drum machine)into my sequencer(Cakewalk), how should my Delta 66 inputs be set in the software? Panned hard right or left or down the middle? I am pretty new to this so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, James
 
Well, I leave mine panned down the middle. If my source is mono I plug it in to whatever input, then just select that input (L or R 1/2 or 3/4) as the source for the track.
