Hi

I currently own one Zoom Mrs 1044 ten track multitrack unit.
I was wondering is it possible to connect a second unit to the first one that way make 20 tracks ?

I'm currently in the process of custom building my daw pc which won't be ready for sometime for the moment the zoom 1044 has been the heart of my homestudio.

If it can be done do I need any special cables ?

I don't think so!
Is it just a question out of curiosity or out of necessity because you need more tracks? How many tracks do you need? I have the 1266 and I lay my instruments down, mix those and bounce them all to a single mono. With all the other tracks freed up, I have 10 more tracks for vocals, which I mix and bounce to a single mono. Then I can even add more effects or whatever else I want.(I have plenty of room to add whatever) Perhaps you need more tracks, I'm just curious. The bouncing on Digital is great vs analog, you lose no quality......
But I will research also and try to get back to you to see if it is at all possible.
