Question about public mixing contests

Can anyone start one of these, or are they coordinated by someone in particular?

This is a fantastic way for engineers (aspiring or otherwise) to show their stuff and expand their horizons. I have a tune or two that I would consider putting up into a PMC if so allowed ...

As far as I know, material is welcome from all sources... Hosts are volunteers who donate their time (and skin) ;) as are stellar folks like Nl5 (and others) who donate bandwidth to post the music.

I think Finst has PMC9 earmarked as well... But watch for a 'call to arms' as it were for future contests if you want to donate some of your tracks...

I don't see why not. Put up some tracks and if they stink, you'll find out!!!

Seriously, take the bull by the horns... do it! :)
