question about damged SP cardioid capsule-- I dropped it dammit!!!!

The casing bent and it woudn't screw on to the mic so I tried to fix and screwed it up worse. The guys at SP are sending me two new ones but they are the silver ones from the pre 2006 mics. They said it wasn't a problem and that the capsules are matched, he tested them, he said. Since I don't know squat about mics---is it the body of the mics that are matched? Do the capsules need to be "matched?". Do the mic capsules need to be "matched" to the mic body??? In other words, when I get these new capsules, will I still have the matched pair that I paid for? :confused:
 
Ok don't rush in all at once

I got my answer in case anyone is interested which obviously they aren't :p

The mic body was redesigned in 2006 but the capsules are exactly the same.
