Purchased an Aardvark Q1O for $199

I purchased one off EBay, for $199 plus shipping, and recieved it today.
I gotta say, for $199, I really cant complain.
Its not the best interface, less so than the Motu 828MKII, but for $199, shit was a no brainer.
 
yeah count yourself lucky.. i bought one awhile back when they were still going ~$500 on ebay. its crazy that you got one for $200 because i actually just sold mine on ebay like last week and still even got $400+ for it. thats a steal and its a great little interface (sold mine to fund my digital mixer :))
 
yeah that is a crazy price...
I bought mine, like a week before people started to realize that aardvark wouldn't answer ANY emails/phonecalls/etc....and then it dissappeared. Anyway I paid 400.
 
My fault, it wasn't $199 exactly, it was $217 with shipping.
At any rate, it's a piece of equipment that I'll hang onto.
It doesnt compare to the Fireface I have, but for the price, it was certainly a better deal.
 
They went out of business though. What can be done now about drivers and support?

Maybe they came back - dunno. The old Web site still no longer exists.

At any rate - that's a good deal.
